Let's discuss the subtext
Accepting select narrative features, documentaries, and short films for the upcoming season. Share your script, rough cut, or an abstract emotional brief.
Method & Collaboration
When should a composer join?
What is your scoring process?
Ideally during pre-production or early edit. Starting with the script allows us to build the sonic subtext before temp music locks your perspective and limits creative possibilities.
We begin with a spotting session to identify where the music needs to breathe, followed by analog-digital hybrid drafts tailored precisely to your film's pacing.
Do you work with temp tracks?
What delivery formats are included?
I prefer to work from the emotional brief. Temp tracks often lead to imitation; original scoring should feel like an organic character that holds the scene together.
Full stereophonic mixes, surround sound stems, and cue sheets ready for your sound designer, ensuring a seamless integration at the final theatrical mix stage.
