Fifteen-year-old Kindle has always known there is something wrong with his fire.

It comes too hot, too quickly, and sometimes seems to know what he is feeling before he does. When secrets surrounding his childhood begin to unravel, Kindle discovers that the changes overtaking him are not an illness—and the father who raised him has spent fifteen years protecting an impossible truth.

Kindle isn't simply a boy who can make fire.

He is a dragon.
